Caphe Games operates Caphe Puzzles, Caphe Codebusters, and our other games and apps. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our websites, games, and apps.
Game drafts, preferences, and completion information are stored on your device and, in games and apps that sync, with our backend provider—under an account that is created for you the first time you play, whether or not you sign in with email. If you choose email sign-in, our authentication provider receives your email address. We use a crash-reporting service and a product-analytics service to find bugs and to understand how our games are used so we can improve them. These receive technical information about your device and the app, how our games are used, and the details of errors, which can include content from the game you had open. We do not use advertising services and we do not track you across other sites or apps.
If you send feedback or request support, we receive the information in your message and any optional reply email or screenshot you choose to provide, together with limited technical details about your device and the app to help us find the relevant account and reproduce the problem.
Our hosting and service providers may also process basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
We use this information to provide, save, sync, secure, and improve our games and apps, respond to support requests, and comply with the law. As the people who run the service, we can see what is saved with your account, including your sign-in email and your record of puzzles you have worked on. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
You can play without email sign-in, and where a game collects analytics you can turn it off in Settings. You can clear locally stored game data through your browser or device. Feedback screenshots and reply emails are optional. Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information through our feedback and support form. We may verify the request and retain information where legally required.
Our games and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy when our practices change.
